What can be better than a rich Bolognese with pasta of your choice? Whether making it at home or ordering this dish at a restaurant, a bolognese will rarely disappoint. There are so many different ways in which one can cook a bolognese, so it is easy to make it unique and to cook it with a twist. Of course, every base is somewhat the same, but with a variation of spices, vegetables and meat, you can get creative.
A bolognese is the optimal choice for your weekday dinner, whether making it for yourself, friends or family. This is yet another simple recipe; however, it will require at least an hour or two of your time, as the key to a good bolognese is simmering it at a very low heat for a minimum of one hour. If you have time, simmer it for a few hours, as this will make the meat very tender and the sauce a heavenly flavor. While you are at it, make an extra load and put it in the freezer for a delicious dinner at a later date. This recipe is my mom’s recipe, and it is a hit for sure! Consider this Bolognese restaurant material. It will amaze you, and if you are a pasta lover this dish will appease your assumptions above and beyond.
To make this meal even tastier, I recommend serving it with parmesan cheese and garnishing it with some fresh parsley. In addition to that, you can also choose to have some warm bread on the side, with or without garlic, to dip in the sauce. If you are looking for a wine that will go well with this meal, I would recommend drinking Chianti if you prefer red wine, if you prefer white wine, I would suggest going for a Pinot Grigio.
